Grays — Rangers
A lot of hits and a lot of runs were scored. In the end, the Grays outlasted the Rangers 15-13 to finish the regular season at 9-3. In a game that was close throughout, the Grays plated three runs in the 7th inning to erase a two-run deficit, holding on for the victory. Leading the Grays’ 18 hit attack was Kevin Mack and Tom Hopkins, with four and three hits, respectively. Glenn Griffin, Mike Darwin, and Greg Gaber also chipped in two hits apiece. The Rangers, who collected 21 hits in the game, were led by Bill Nolan and Jason Witt, each with four hits. Dan Hendrickson and Jeff Kunkle had three hits apiece. Chris Greatens, in his Grays’ debut, earned the win on the mound, pitching a complete game.
