Expos repeat champs!

The Expos jumped out to an early 6-1 lead only to see the Reds rally to take an 8-7 lead after 4.

Both teams failed to score in the 5th and 6th but the Expos rallied once again just like the week before. This time with a 3 spot in the top of the 7th with some great timely hitting including Eric Drier’s 2 run double to right field to drive in the tying and go ahead runs. After a leadoff error in the bottom of the 7th they were able to get a pop up and 1-6-3 double play to end the game in exciting fashion.

Much merriment was had at Fifth Quarter afterwards with some talk of a 3-peat.
