At the beginning of tonight there was still one team undefeated in the division.  At the end of the night there was not.  The Bulldogs jumped on top and held the lead at the end of every inning.  The Reds did themselves no favors with an octet of errors but the Bulldogs played well enough to win a majority of games in this division and it sure was good enough tonight.

For the Reds Troy Galston continued his torrid hitting, going three for three with a double and three runs scored.  He also struck out nine in his five innings on the mound.

For the Bulldogs, Dereck Smith had a triple and a double, scoring both times, and a fly deep enough to right to move the eventual winning run to third base with one out, from where he scored on a grounder to short.
